Player Information Sheet

 

Format: 

 

Championship Division:

18 Holes, Four-Ball Stroke Play

 

 Any tie for first place will be decided immediately by a hole-by-hole playoff (Championship Division only).

 

Tournament Division:

Gross and Net (85% of course handicap).

 

Rules of Play: The 2023 Rules of Golf are in effect and are supplemented by the MASS GOLF HARD CARD. The Committee will provide any additional Local Rules needed at the championship site. It is the individual player’s responsibility to know the Terms of the Competition.

 

Policies & Procedures: Please refer to the Mass Golf POLICIES & PROCEDURES.

 

Golf Carts, Caddies, & Push/Pull Carts: Golf carts are included in the entry fee, and competitors are encouraged to use golf carts during the Championship. Caddies, and push/pull carts are also permitted.

 

Starting Times: Can be found on the MASSACHUSETTS WOMEN'S FOUR-BALL CHAMPIONSHIP home page. Please make sure to be at your starting tee at least 10 minutes prior to your starting time to ensure that all proper instructions are received from the starter.

Practice Round Information: Discounted practice rounds will be available to all competitors based on club availability. Competitors are required to call the Golf Shop at 781-784-5991 to schedule their practice round – no walk-up times will be available. Players will be paired together at the discretion of the Cape Club of Sharon professional staff.

 

There will be a mandatory $59 trail fee per player for the practice round. This will include cart and range balls.

5/27 - Anytime after 9:30

5/31 - Times Blocked from 2-2:20 and will fill in as they call

6/3 - Anytime after 9:30

6/7 - Times Blocked from 2-2:30 and will fill in as they call

6/9 - Anytime between 9:30 and 1:30

6/10 Anytime after 9:30

6/13 - Times Blocked from 2-2:30 and will fill in as they call

 

Notes

-Only ONE BALL may be played by competitors during their practice round.

 

Practice Facilities: The practice facilities will be available starting at 6:30 AM on Tuesday, June 16th.

 

Food & Beverage Services: Mass Golf will be providing a complimentary luncheon on Tuesday, June 16th for all competitors between the hours of 11:30 AM – 3:30 PM.

 

On-Course Restrooms: Between Holes 2/5 & Clubhouse.

 

Prizes: Hannah D. Townshend Cup engraved with the names of Women’s Four-Ball Championship Winners (Championship). Merchandise certificates will be awarded to top finishers in the Championship & Tournament Division
